More updates
I added a few more elements to my page today to represent things I am doing in my life right now.
Marching band and Skate videos over there on the side of the page.
We are in the middle of marching season right now so I thought it would be cool to have some videos of marching bands on my page.
I also have recently become obsessed with a new game coming out called Skate. If you are not a gamer you won't understand, But if you are a gamer and you have not heard of this game... check it out here --> Skate Website
I downloaded the demo from Xbox live a few days ago and I quite sure this is the best skating game ever made. The physics and trick systems are incredible. And to that the replay editor and the online play possibilities... man this is gonna be a great game.

Another Great Meal
I am really becoming an Iron Hill Brewery fan. We went to the one in Phoenixville PA last night with some friends. I had the meatloaf. It was damn good. I have yet to recieve a bad meal at this resturaunt. I only wish there were locations in Arizona.
I am not a big beer drinker usually. But how can you go to a brewery and not order beer? So far my favorite beer is the Belgian Witbier
BELGIAN WITBIER
Release Date: 6/4/07
OG: 1.048
Color (deg L): 3
IBU: 17
% Alc (w/v): 4.4%
Description: Unfiltered Belgian-style wheat beer. Pale in color and light bodied yet very complex. A distinct yeast and the use of spices give it a fruity citrus flavor that is very refreshing.
It is very good! So the bottom line is go give it a try

Mount Vernon

"No estate in United America is more pleasantly situated than this."
~Geroge Washington in a letter to an English correspondent in 1793
I have to say, those words are as true today as they were all those 214 years ago.
use of I have to admit that I learned alot about our Mr. Washington and his life today. The history of the man himself was far and away the best part of the experience. Every thing from his days as a surveyor, to his days serving as a colonial soldier in the French and Indian war, to his amazing espionage ad leadership skills in the Revolutionary War, to his brilliant foresight in resigning his commission at the end of said war, to his amazing if somewhat reluctant work as our first president. He was an amazing man. Those are but a few highlights, not to mention his many victories in battles of both wars and his efforts presiding over the Constitutional Convention d so much more. I can honestly say I have much more respect for our first president after this trip.

Fun game
I found this cool Game and I thought i would put the link for it here .
http://handdrawngames.com/DesktopTD/
Quote from the site...
"Desktop TD is a fun flash based puzzle / strategy game where you have to protect your desktop from invaders by spending money on attacking pieces and building a maze for them to follow. Strangely addictive yet stress relieving... how many levels can you survive?"
It is true. Unlike alot of the flash games I have played, this one is sort of relaxing... If you turn the sound off. The sounds are really cute for about the first 2 or 3 levels, then it just gets annoying.
Have fun with it! My best score so far was around 2500.

Pictures fro my phone?

Well this is where we had lunch today and I have been trying all afternoon to figure out how to send this picture to my blog from my Cingular 8525. Now matter how I tried it would not work. I tried MMS but it just never sent. I tried sending to my publish from email and the picture doesn't show up. Oh well I tried. My main problem right now is that I don't have cell reception where my computer is. I will have to try this again when I get back home and can play with the phone and the computer at the same time.
Anyway here is the picture I was tring to get up here lol.
Hey I am posting again.
Hello all of you adoring fans... (crickets)
Ok so I have no fans. What can I say. Who wants to read a blog that only gets posted to once or twice a year. I guess I am not really a writer. I might be a drummer, an architectural designer, a husband, a computer geek, a gamer, and maybe even a weirdo. But I am no writer. Ha Ha. I really just started this blog because everyone else seemed to have one and I didn't want to get left out. Now I do the twitter thing (http://twitter.com/medullaman). It seems easier for me to just have to worry about one or two lines at a time. It is fun and I have found some neat stuff. I even got a follower over there. I am not sure how, but it happened. ha. I even got a good laugh from his website. (http://crappygraphs.com/) pretty funny stuff.
Well not much else to say.... until next time.

Another good quote
Disobedience, in the eyes of anyone who has read history, is man's original virtue. It is through disobedience and rebellion that progress has been made.
-- Oscar Wilde, The Soul of Man Under Socialism
This is an interesting quote. It very similar to my greed idea. I feel like greed is one of the best and worst things all wrapped up in one. Greed has fueled men to create some of the worlds greatest advances. Conversely, greed has caused many men to do unspeakable evils to his fellow man.
Now that is a random thought! Ha!

The most sporadic Blogger on the planet!
Another year goes by...
What am I really keeping track of here?
I do get some entertainment reading the random thoughts I have captured here so I guess I will continue. One day maybe it will stick.
Where do I start?
I finally did it. I am running my own business. Well to be specific I am half owner. Bottom line, I work for me now. This last year has been a real life changing year for me. I quit my job, opened my own business and subsequently took on a partner and now I am the co-owner of a business with a very innovative concept and a very bright future. I have really made things happen for myself in this last year and it feels great. Opening my own business has been a goal of mine for almost all of my working life. To finally be doing it has been the most amazing thing to happen to me since meeting and marring my Wife. I am standing in a spot I have dreamed about for years.
I am taking a trip next week to Moab to go Quad riding. We are renting an RV and "camping" in the desert for several days. I will need to post some pictures when I get back. (If I don't completely forget about this blog for another year :) )
The one thing this blog has taught me.
I am not a writer! But as I said at the top, it is entertaining . Maybe you think so too. :)

A Fresh New Start
I have decided it is time to go it on my own. Things are moving along nicely. I have my computer setup and my software is on the way. I should have plenty of work to keep me busy and I know I have the skill to get it done.
Good time to come.

Time Flies
Well...
Here we are again in Marching season, adn as you can tell by the time stamp I am up late again trying to squeeze some free time back into my day. All is well for the most part. I am feeling restless, I want to do something new. Although that is really not anything all that new.
Things are going well at the office. Projects are coming along nicely and things are not to stressful.
I am really tired, bt I wanted to try to write in here whenever I think about it.
Oh ya one more thing. I wanna do a podcast. I am not sure what it would be about, Maybe just my personal diary. I just think it is a really cool Idea, and I wonder iff I could figure out a podcast subject or format that someone would enjoy.
I gotta get some sleep... zzzzzzzzzzzz

Things are moving along nicely. We have several projects lined up and a new software package on the way to help.
My sister just graduated high school last night. It was not to bad. The traffic getting there was a PITA. But other than that it was good. We all went to Garcias after for dinner. Good times.
Not much to say at the moment. Got a lot of work to do today. Talk to you soon.

ADT 2006 Ramblings
Adt took a lot of my time last week. It is going to get better. I think I have finally figured out the standards and tool palates setup. I think I am going to start over again and set up a few more things. I am going to try to do it in the mornings. Maybe even do it on a separate part of the server. Then I can throw away the not-so-good version of things as the new stuff is ready to go live. So I want to go through all of my old styles for walls door and windows. I will take my template file from 2005 and save it in the office standards folder. Then I will go in and begin to bring the styles into a clean drawing one at a time after I have fixed them. Then I will create a tool palette set from that drawing and write it to the main tools set. That way when ADT wants to create a separate tool set, I can just leave it empty and use the standard tool palates. Then I will have one catalog and one standards file always pointing at the same thing. Then my method for updating the catalog and the palates should continue to work fine. This might be good this way if I need to I can create project specific styles. But I don't see that happening. Standards should be just that.
On the other hand...
Maybe it would be good to be creating a new standards set for each project. This could then be an ever-evolving system.
No I need the UI and environment to be 100% consistent if at al possible.

Another great weekend. I got my buggy running strong this weekend. I finished the heat cycling on the engine on Saturday night. Then Sunday's bash was a big success. I got some great jumps in with the rustler and a lot of high speed running around with the buggy. I only got one big jump in with the buggy, and I broke the wing mount in the process. It was definitely a fun day.
Things are moving along nicely at the office. I might actually get around to installing the new ADT today. I am excited about getting back into the 3D stuff. We have a couple of cool projects on the books that will be fun to do in 3D.
Man those virus spreader type are really annoying me. It seems every time I turn around, there is some new scam to try and spread viruses around. It is really getting out of hand. You really just can't trust anyone anymore. Opening email is becoming a very dangerous thing to do.
Just some things I was thinking about. Cya

We got ADT 2006 today, but it looks like it will be a few days before I get a chance to load it. I have a project that was dumped on me that I now have to complete before I can move on to the next thing.
I really wanted to start the break-in of my buggy last night, But it just didn't happen. I was afraid I would not have enough time to get the heat cycles in so I just skipped it till Fri. Hopefully I will be able to get a few cycles in on Fri. and then finish it up on Sat. I can't wait to get that thing going.
Concert night tonight. I have to go up to my wife's concert tonight and set up the sound. It should be pretty smooth, I will have some kids to help. I just have to remember to keep my cool. We tend to get a little testy with each other during these stressful times. I am looking forward to this concert because I have not seen this years show yet. I missed it at Disney because I was backstage with the Symphonic band. Should be fun. A late night for sure though. No hobby time tonight.
Well I should get back to work. Cya

Well, Here we are at Tuesday. I messed with my new buggy a little last night. Got the throttle and break linkages set up. Now I just need to get a battery pack and a good set of break in instructions. I hear that process is not the most fun, But it will insure that the engine has a long life.
Work is back to being a pain in the ass. I am picking up someone else’s garbage yet again. This one should not be to bad, but that is just not the point. I guess I am just really getting tired of working on someone else’s projects because they can't get them done. Oh well, this is my life right now, I guess the best thing to do id put on a happy face and try to muddle through the best I can.
That's all for now.
